Different Behaviours 11g/12c XSL In Service Bus
(Doc ID 2060556.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 09, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle Service Bus - Version 12.1.3.0.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Customer is in the process of upgrading their OSB 11g environments to 12c,
without modifying the code. OSB 11g used Apache Xalan to process XSLT, and
12c uses the XDK XSLT processor. They discovered that in 12c, the XSLT
processor deleted certain xmlns attributes which were present in the
equivalent 11g results.
Investigations showed that this is because the XDK processor deletes xmlns
information specified in literal result elements, although the XSLT 2.0
specification requires them to be kept.
