Goal

Extreme poor performance logging on to OBIEE 

The environment is set up with disaster recovery (DR) standby site.

When an Active Directory user attempts to login to OBIEE, on the WebLogic layer, the Web App JEE server initiates a query to the IP address of the standby DR site, which, by design, is not reachable under normal condition. We believe this is causing the massive delay in Active Directory users logging on to OBIEE.
