After Enabling Viewer Cache, the Imaging AXF Viewer Generates a Popup Message "Unable To Fully Render Document" for Non-Cached Documents (Doc ID 2064943.1)

Last updated on MARCH 14, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content: Imaging - Version 11.1.1.8.0 to 11.1.1.8.0 [Release 11g]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After enabling Viewer Cache, the AXF viewer will display a message indicating the document in not fully rendered for any image that is not currently cached. This only happens in the AXF Task Viewer or when viewing Documents using the Imaging URL tools.

Pop-up error message:

"Unable to fully render document X.IPM_XXXXXX, check server logs for more information. To download and view locally, use the Download menu item from the File menu of the Viewer."

The message will go away upon selecting OK on the message and the document will actually load in the viewer.  This only happens the first time the document is opened if the document does not exist in the viewer cache.  If the document is already cached, there is no pop up message.

This issue only happens in Imaging version 11.1.1.8.
