ORA-22992 Occurs If Using PreparedStatement.setNull(x, java.sql.Types.BLOB) Over DBLink (Doc ID 2065087.1)

When using PreparedStatement.setNull(x, java.sql.Types.BLOB) to insert a row including LOBs over dblink, the JDBC thin driver returns the error:
