Symptoms
OID 11g on IBM AIX 6.1, POWER Systems (64-bit)
The OID bulkload command errors out in the check/generate phase preventing completion of the load phase and showing messages as the following in the bulkload.log:
[2015-10-08T17:01:56-05:00] [OID] [NOTIFICATION:16] [] [BULKLOAD] [host: <OID_HOSTNAME>] [pid: <PID>] [tid: <TID>] gsltltwWriter: *Error at line:66022, "dn: cn=<USERNAME>,cn=users,dc=<COMPANY>,dc=com"
[2015-10-08T17:01:56-05:00] [OID] [NOTIFICATION:16] [] [BULKLOAD] [host: <OID_HOSTNAME>] [pid: <PID>] [tid: <TID>] gsltltwWriter: Schema Check failed with error=1020
[2015-10-08T17:01:56-05:00] [OID] [NOTIFICATION:16] [] [BULKLOAD] [host: <OID_HOSTNAME>] [pid: <PID>] [tid: <TID>] gsltltwWriter: sn attribute not found. Mandatory Attribute missing.
A "badentries.ldif" file is generated with all entries affected by this Schema Check error.
However, examination of the LDIF file used for the bulkload command shows that the affected entries do include a valid "sn" line in their definition.
