"User weblogic soft locked": Message in OIM logs After Changing the Weblogic User Password (Doc ID 2067396.1)

Goal

In the middle of an exercise to change the Weblogic password in all environments to satisfy a security requirement.  Able to do so successfully in one lower environment, but when trying on another, are having strange issues with the Weblogic security realm.

Sometimes are not able to log into the WebLogic console using the weblogic ID with the new password.

Upon inspecting the OIM logs, see continuously a message that states "User weblogic soft locked" by the OIM Authenticator. Also see the same message in the SOA server logs.


Unable to determine the specific place where this error is originating from.
