Reserved Words Still Causing Problems After Patch 20561136 Is Applied in ODI 12c (Doc ID 2068571.1)

Symptoms

Some Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) mappings are failing because of reserved keyword issues even after applying Patch 20561136 - Missing quotes enclosure for mixed case or reserved words in column names.

For instance, column name in Oracle (Source) is ZONE, which is not allowed as a column name in Teradata (Target).

When a mapping runs the CREATE TABLE command, the following error appears:
