When executing the partition drop verification script for group 1 and 1A, the script fails with the following error:

ORA-00911: invalid character
00911. 00000 - "invalid character"

After some investigation, found the following,
Package Name: VERIFY_BPEL
go to line# 626 (function: DL_Chk_Part_Ok) and you will find a special character in column 51. see below the actual code line

verify_id_table varchar2(100) :='verify_group1`';

There is a special character embedded along with the table name 'verify_group1'

After removing this character the verification script completed without any errors.
