REP-50171 When Attempt to Access Standalone Reports Server in Reports 12c (Doc ID 2071879.1)

Symptoms

You have successfully installed and configured Reports 12c, and created a new standalone reports server per instructions in:
   

  How to Create an stand-alone Reports Server in Reports 12c (<Note:2070762.1>)

 

Now, when attempting to access your newly created Reports Server <repserver_name> using any rwservlet command, like showjobs, and you enter your user (for example, weblogic) at the System User Authentication prompt, you get the following error message:

REP-51019: System user authentication is missing.
REP-50171: Authentication failed. 

Changes

 Created new standalone Reports Server in Reports 12c.
