Apex 5.0 Not Allowing Large SQL Queries in RESTFul - Get Services (Doc ID 2073733.1)

Symptoms

On : APEX 5.0 version, SQL Workshop


When attempting to enter a large query while creating a GET method Restful Services Query, the query is limited to only 4000 characters.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:
Be able to enter the long queries (5000 characters or more) as it was accepted in previous version (4.2).

STEPS:
1. Go to Home -> SQL Workshop -> RESTful Services -> Create RESTful Service Module -> For Method select Get -> See Query Field.
2. Copy and paste a query with more than 4000 characters into the query field.
3. The query is entered incomplete and you cannot enter more characters.


Changes

 Upgrade to APEX 5.0
