Upgrading From a WebLogic Version Prior to WebLogic Server 10.3.1

 

Following the instructions at the above link to upgrade a WebLogic Server domain from 9.2.3 to 12.1.3, the upgrade from 9.2.3 to 10.3.6 succeeds, but the upgrade from 10.3.6 to 12.1.3 fails, throwing the following exception:
