Last updated on NOVEMBER 20, 2015

Applies to:

Oracle Service Bus - Version 11.1.1.7.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 11.1.1.7.0 version, OSB Build

When an OSB domain is configured with an external Authentication provider like OID, any changes made to the OID users take far too long to be reflected in OSB.

- OSB Proxy is setup to provide access to only certain groups in OID (for eg. Group1)

- Every user in that group is able to access the proxy. (Try a test user for eg. User1) and confirm user is able to access

- Now remove the user User1 from OID Group Group1.

- Try access the proxy and the proxy service is still accessible. It takes approximately 15 to 20 mins for user to be revoked access.
