WebCenter Sites Caching 0kb Responses
(Doc ID 2081213.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 30, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle WebCenter Sites - Version 7.6.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
When WebCenter Sites generates a response that is 0 kb in size, because of an error in the execution of the template code or on purpose, this will cause an insert in Systempagecache table and as many inserts in Systemitemcache as per the page dependencies.
All these rows will be marked as expired and will be immediately deleted the next time the cache manager event is executed.
The customer would like to know if this is the normal behavior for the Webcenter sites application to insert 0kb responses in cache and then immediately expunge the very same rows.
