Oracle Fusion Middleware deinstallation Fails with Error "wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64 (Possible cause: architecture word width mismatch)" (Doc ID 2098069.1)

Symptoms

While deinstalling ADF 11.1.1.5 it fails with these errors.

./runInstaller.sh -deinstall -jreLoc /usr/java

 

Some of the checks occurred and then the installer fails to open with the following error:

[EXCEPTION]:java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException


java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /tmp/OraInstall2016-01-07_12-09-21PM/oui/lib/solaris/liboraInstaller.so: ld.so.1: java: fatal: /tmp/OraInstall2016-01-07_12-09-21PM/oui/lib/solaris/liboraInstaller.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64 (Possible cause: architecture word width mismatch)
