Last updated on OCTOBER 31, 2016
Applies to:Oracle Forms - Version 220.127.116.11.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
After converting a Form ( FMB) to XML using frmf2xml.sh and back to FMB using frmxml2f.sh some of the form items having specific colors (e.g. Background Color: r70g100b85) after converting back to .fmb and opening in the forms builder the items are rendered with a black background.
The issue is reproducing if the FMB is using a color from a Color palette different from default.pal (which is the default) like for example col16.pal .
When the converted FMB is open in Forms Builder even if the background color property remain set to r100g85b70 it appears in the Layout editor as black.
Trying to change the background color property will result in error: FRM-12305: Color by this name does not exist.
