ESSO 11g: Password Reset Failing With Server Error

On the Windows client machine lock out screen (from Ctrl + Alt + Del), when the user clicks Forgot your password, click here to reset it, the Password Reset wizard is displayed. Upon entering the username and clicking OK, it is throwing server error.

The error is same as explained in and I have tried using MachineKey for ResetClient application and bounced IIS server, but issue still persists.

machineKey change in web.config has been applied to other applications like ManagementClient and EnrollmentClient as well, but no luck.

I have also changed SSPR AppPool (application pool binded to ResetClient application) Identity value to Network Service, but no luck. Referred article for this step.
