Requests are failing and when you open the request details page and click on the Request Failed Status link at the top of the page, you see a popup with:
Request Error Details
IAM-2050014: An error occurred while initiating approvals for request xxxx. The corresponding error message is Unable to instantiate the workflow process due to: clusterhostvhn2.
The corresponding OIM managed server diagnostic log (ie... $DOMAIN_HOME/servers/wls_oim1/logs/wls_oim1-diagnostic.log) shows the following errors:
There are no errors in the SOA managed server log files.
Also, when attempting to create an Approval Policy, the deployed SOA composites are not shown, even though you can see in EM that the composites are deployed. There are no errors shown in the log files when you attempt to browse the SOA composites from the Approval Policy creation window.
This issue occurs following various changes in the configuration files. For example, where SSL has been implemented and/or a load balancer has been configured to route requests to your SOA cluster.
Following these changes, various methods have been used to update the domain configuration.
