Qn1:We are getting this message in the report file and on syslog. All out tables do not have an AERO status. After any alter, we reorganize. Can you tell us what criteria is generating this message?
BPXF024I (CXIS004) Dec 15 11:36:34 Oracle GoldenGate Capture for
DB2: 2015-12-15 11:36:34 WARNING OGG-01745 Oracle
GoldenGate Capture for DB2, xxxxxxxx.prm: Additional columns detected
for table xxxxxxxxx. Change data processing may be less
efficient until the table is reorganized.*
Qn2:This WARNING OGG-01745 is being displayed once on first process of a tables's update or delete. We don't see Error Messages reported for rows getting errors while parsing. Seems there would be more of those messages.
The Warning message indicates a less efficient process of log data. Management would like a clearer definition of this.
Is there more CPU processing for this condition?
What is the cost?
How do we get around this?
