Closing An Action In The WorkFlow Tasklist Taskflow Raises a Nullpointerexception in WebCenter Portal 11.1.1.8 (Doc ID 2103463.1)

Symptoms

WebCenter Portal 11.1.1.8 was integrated with BPM 11.1.1.7.4 where SOA/BPM are installed in a separate domain.

Within the BPM Worklist, a null pointer exception was raised when closing two human workflow tasks. This has been identified as being related to the issue in bug 19599038, "Null Pointer exception when completing task". Patch set 11.1.1.7.5 for SOA/BPM and fix 20180265 were applied on top of the BPM installation. These patches resolved the issue.

The issue remains in the WebCenter Portal installation however. When closing the Human Tasks in the worklist taskflow, the null pointer exception is still raised :
