Symptoms

Using Goldengate 11.1.1.1.1for Teradata when attempting to start the extract after a server crash the following error occurs -

2016-02-01 13:52:53 INFO OGG-00975 Oracle Oracle GoldenGate Manager for Teradata, mgr.prm: EXTRACT xxxx03 starting.
2016-02-01 13:52:53 INFO OGG-00992 Oracle GoldenGate Capture for Teradata, xxxx03.prm: EXTRACT xxxx03 starting.
2016-02-01 13:52:54 INFO OGG-00993 Oracle GoldenGate Capture for Teradata, xxxx03.prm: EXTRACT xxxx03 started.
2016-02-01 13:52:54 INFO OGG-01478 Oracle GoldenGate Capture for Teradata, xxxx03.prm: Output file ./dirdat/grp03/xtract/aa is using format RELEASE 10.4/11.1.
2016-02-01 13:52:54 INFO OGG-00182 Oracle GoldenGate Capture for Teradata, xxxx03.prm: VAM API running in single-threaded mode.
2016-02-01 13:52:54 INFO OGG-01026 Oracle GoldenGate Capture for Teradata, xxxx03.prm: Rolling over remote file ./dirdat/grp03/xtract/aa000011.
2016-02-01 13:52:54 ERROR OGG-00146 Oracle GoldenGate Capture for Teradata, xxxx03.prm: VAM function VAMInitialize returned unexpected result: error 600 - VAM Client Report <VAMInitialize: Error response returned from RSG 0 for data signon (Data connection to this Vproc is invalid.)>.
