(Doc ID 2105212.1)
Last updated on JULY 21, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle API Gateway - Version 11.1.2.1.0 to 11.1.2.2.0 [Release 11gR1]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Oracle API Gateway (OAG) 11.1.2.2.0. The document does also apply to other OAG versions,
but was explicitly tested only for 11.1.2.2.x.
Problem
Several policies are using an LDAP Connection to the same LDAP server.
The LDAP Connection has the following connection parameters (default):
Cache Timeout: 300000
Cache Size: 8
Cache Size: 8
When policies are used which trigger this LDAP Connection, from the LDAP server's point of view:
- the LDAP connections are never terminated (even when no more requests come in), except when the Gateway is restarted
- there are more than 8 connections.
