Last updated on FEBRUARY 16, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content - Version 10.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

On a 10g instance, with Folders_g, CollaborationManager and TaskWizard components enabled, when trying to update the metadata of a folder while in the sub-folders of a Collaboration Project the update screens shows the information of root folder instead.

This issue can be reproduced at will by following below steps:

a. Enable Folders_g, CollaborationManager and TaskWizard.
b. Restart server and go to Browse Content/Collaboration Projects.
c. Create a new project and under it create a folder and sub-folder with some content in it.
d. Go to Information link for sub-folder and update any metadata from Actions/Update.

Expected Result - This should update the metadata on sub-folder.
Actual Result - It actually brings up the form to update the metadata on the root level project folder instead.
