Purpose

Describe how Oracle Forms can be integrated with Oracle Reports via the built-in RUN_REPORT_OBJECT.

Scope

Target Audience: Forms/ Reports Developers, consultants, support engineers

The article is written with a Forms / Reports 6i (9iDS / 9iAS Rel 1) environment in mind. Many of the points, and the example code, can be adapted/ applied to integrating Forms / Reports 9i (9iDS / 9iAS Rel 2). The sample code has been kept simple, so it can be used a starting point for those unfamiliar with RUN_REPORT_OBJECT. Some useful troubleshooting tips have also been provided.
