This issue is specific to IBM AIX OS where trails are stored on mount point.

2015-12-21 10:46:04 ERROR OGG-01668 PROCESS ABENDING.


1. Extract works fine upon first start.

2. It hangs while restarting. Noticed that, it has an issue doing recovery. Confirmed that, Collector/Server process has created dynamically at remote system.

3. It works fine if we alter extract pump with 'ETROLLOVER' option. This means that, we are altering checkpoint file. So, I believe checkpoint file is not being modified correctly while stopping first time.


 Moved the trail files to NFS mount.
