Unable to Start Forms 12c Application with Java Web Start (Doc ID 2110430.1)

Symptoms

When trying to start a Forms 12c application with Java Web Start with a link such :

   http://servername:port/forms/frmservlet?form=test.fmx&config=webstart

the following JAVA logo appears but it hangs and nothing else occurs.

 


If one removes "config=webstart" from the url , which means the default deployment method is used instead of webstart, the Forms applet loads successfully.
