Symptoms
Reports engine crashes when double quote is escaped in URL.
REP-56048: Engine rwEng-1 crashed., job Id: 1234
For Example:
1. In <USER>/<PASSWORD> demo table EMP, change any ename record to this value: <LASTNAME>" <FIRSTNAME>
2. Run test report using any reports server:
3. If you remove the " in the URL above, then the engine does not crash. Single quote ''' works fine. Problem is only with ".
