Symptoms

Using Apache Subversion (SVN) or Git as Version Control System (VCS).

After a crash or voluntary shutdown / kill of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Studio during VCS tagging operation, any action against the Repository is not possible and it appears to be locked.

ODI-12242: Creating full tag with name <NAME> from configured branch/trunk failed with error [ODI-12356: ODI repository locked for sync operation.].
