WebCenter Enterprise Capture Buttons Are Not Working When Using Internet Explorer 11 (Doc ID 2117005.1)

Symptoms

In the WebCenter Enterprise Capture dc-client, certain buttons are not functional.  These buttons include "Preferences", "Sign Out" and "About".  When selected, no action is taken.

The browser being used is Internet Explorer 11 with Java version 1.8.0_71.  This does work correctly with Internet Explorer 9 and Java version 1.6.0_26.
