When trying to create a remote connection in GoldenGate Studio using service name and put something like
'jdbc:oracle:thin:@gg1:1521/supp' into URL, the following error is returned:
sql to the data store from the os. This connection works just fine.
Also if we replace 'jdbc:oracle:thin:@gg1:1521/supp' ---> 'jdbc:oracle:thin:@gg1:1521:supp' then it works.
But both options must work. Moreover 'jdbc:oracle:thin:@gg1:1521/supp' is the only possible URL for pluggable database.
See the observation in the logs. Where does it take 'localhost'? We have specified the real hostname 'gg1' in the connection string but OGG Studio replaces it with 'localhost'.
