EoIB Network Does Not Work On Exalogic Linux Physical Compute Nodes With Hardware Address Shown As Zero's (Doc ID 2121449.1)

Symptoms

In Exalogic Linux Physical racks, issue of EoIB network not working on Compute Nodes is seen after setting up the network. EoIB network is configured by following steps in below documentation.

Looking at the "ifconfig -a" command output we see that there is no MAC address for EoIB network as shown in below example. Below you see that for EoIB bond1 network Hardware address is shown as zero's.
