Symptoms
When using the Oracle JDBC driver to issue a prepared statement that returns auto-generated keys, this operation fails when the targeted table is given a name that consists of a single character.
For example:
1. Given a table with an auto-generated column, and a one-character name:
If the operation is repeated against a table whose name consists of more than one character, this error does not occur.
