Symptoms

Upgrading Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 10g 10.1.2.3 to 11g, i.e,. 11.1.1.6 or higher.

Upgrading Oracle Access Manager (OAM) Middle Tier is not accepting OID connection details and fails with:
