OIM 11GR2PS3 Error Opening Highlighted or Administrative Tasks: "An unresolvable error has occured please contact the system administrator for more information" OR Highlighted Tasks Do Not Open (Doc ID 2127192.1)

Symptoms

When clicking on the link to view the task details from pages in the OIM R2 PS3 Self Service UI, there is an intermittent error of "An unresolvable error has occured please contact the system administrator for more information".  A related issue occurs when Patch 22615723 is applied, such that tasks which were already selected or highlighted when opening the page, will not open without first selecting or opening some other task. 

The error seen in the log when the "An unresolvable error has occured please contact the system administrator for more information" error occurs  :

 

Unrelated to the functionality of previously selected or highlighted tasks, the popup error "An unresolvable error has occured please contact the system administrator for more information" can also be seen when opening an Administrative Task from the BPM Worklist application.

 

Changes

The popup error or issue opening tasks which were already selected or highlighted in the OIM Self Service UI is seen after applying a SOA Bundle Patch lower than BP160719(23757923).
