Goal

When there is already an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) J2EE Agent deployed in an Application Server like WebLogic Server, and a third party scheduler is used to schedule ODI jobs (not the ODI scheduler), how can one avoid having to create another standalone Agent and instead use the existing J2EE Agent?

NOTE: Use of third party schedulers is allowed via the steps in this article.  Oracle support does not provide assistance for the third party scheduler.  If an issue is encountered, the issue should be reproduced outside of the third party scheduler or via ODI Scheduler.
