Symptoms
A Perl client that interfaces with Oracle Access Manager 11g (OAM) via SSL to login and gets session cookies on behalf of users, occasionally gets the following SSL error message:

- On an average day, about 50,000 logins to OAM with approximately 200 failures presenting the given SSL error.
