Last updated on SEPTEMBER 10, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud Software - Version 2.0.6.0.0 and later
Linux x86-64
Oracle Virtual Server x86-64

Symptoms

In Exalogic Virtual racks, issue of seeing "Power On has switched to false" false positive messages on Guest vServers is seen. These messages appear on guest vServers which are already running (or) no longer exist in the rack (which were deleted). Following is EMOC screenshot showing the messages on guest vServers.

Acknowledging and closing the incidents from EMOC they reappear again. When clicking on Guest VM's on which this incident appears and then and going to incidents tab, we notice that there are no alerts at all on the individual guest vServer incidents tab.
