Oracle Portal Fails After Disabling SSL 3.0 in OID (Doc ID 2133325.1)

After disabling SSL 4.0 (SSLv3) in Oracle Internet Directory Oracle Portal raises the following error.

internal error (WWC-00006)
Unexpected error encountered in wwsec_app_priv.process_signon (User-Defined Exception)(WWC-41417)
Unexpected error encountered in wwsec_oid.bind(User-Defined Exception)(WWC-41417)
An exception is raised when accessing the Oracle Internet Directory: 554: SSL handshake failed
Operation: dbms_ldap.open_ssl
OID host:
OID port number: 636
Entry DN: orclapplicationcommonname=pr_portal141115.211707.932480000,cn=portal,cn=products,cn=oraclecontext.(WWC-41743)


 You have disable SSL 3.0 in OID.
