Null Pointer Exception In OAM While Trying To Connect With OAuth Client (Doc ID 2135395.1)

Symptoms

After configuring Mobile OAuth client as per instructions from https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E40329_01/admin.1112/e27239/oicconfigoauth.htm#AIAAG89127, customer are facing the following error (full stack in logs attached)

This configuration is identical to our test environment which works, however this does not work in our Production environment.,
