Exported a domain partition as directed by documentation and it threw no error. However, when importing the archive, it is failing without much error details except for

Import of the domain partition failed.
java.lang.NullPointerException:

For this <Patch 22888713> DOMAIN PARTITION IMPORT FAILS WITH NULLPOINTEREXCEPTION  was applied and import succeeded.

But then  the partition has status UNKNOWN in WL Console.

So this happens whether the archive is being imported to another WL 12.2 domain, or on the same domain with different Virtual Target.
