Enabling "Principal Equals Case Insensitive" in 12c WLS Admin Console Causes bi_server1 to Fails to Start (Doc ID 2141743.1)

Symptoms


When the option "Principal equals case Insensitive" it's enabled, bi_server1 fails to start with the error:


If this option it's disabled, then the services starts again successfully.

Changes

 Try to set "Principal Equals Case Insensitive" to true in Weblogic Console, after upgrading to OBIEE 12c.
