In Exalogic Linux Physical racks in some cases we may observe VNICs not existing on the IB Switches which may be caused due accidental deletion or other unforeseen causes. If this happens EoIB network access for Exalogic Compute Nodes does not work causing the PING and SSH connections to node failing.
VNICs on the IB Switches can be checked by running "showvnics" command as shown below.
