Symptoms

Oracle Access Manager 11.1.2.3 integrated with EBS suite 12.1.3 successfully.  Customer has plans to integrate OAM with OIM in the near future  future, so ran idmconfigtool.sh with -preConfigIDStore against the OID store (11.1.1.7)..he dis not complete the entire OAM/OIM integration but only ran this command to prepare the IDStore for future integration.

After running idmconfigtool.sh, update to user records in EBS (such as  changing a user's Description field) starts to fail with errors in ldap_fnd_debug as -

fnd.plsql.oid.fnd_ldap_user.update_user[proc]: 4 ORA-31202: DBMS_LDAP: LDAP client/server error: Insufficient access
