How to configure B2B Listening Channels with duplicate endpoints for FTP jailed users (Doc ID 2146684.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 13, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle SOA Suite - Version 11.1.1.7.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

You are trying to configure two FTP Listening channels with the same "Folder Name".

Your FTP Server is using user jailing, that is, each user is jailed to a particular folder where it has the read/write permissions. The jailed folder is specific/distinct to each user.

As long as the FTP server uses user jailing, the polling for each user happens in different ftp folders. The folder path we set in B2B LC config is relative to the jailed folder, and this is different for each user (each user is jailed in its own space). So the full path if you want $JAILED_FOLDER/{path_we_set_in_folder_name} is different for each user.

Nevertheless, when trying to set two listening channels with the same endpoints for two FTP jailed users, you are getting:

Warning: Channel LC1_ListeningChannel has been disabled due to validation errors
