Not Able To Start A Cache That Uses A Customized Backing Map (ObjectLocalBackingMap) (Doc ID 2146909.1)

Symptoms

User using customized backing map (called ObjectLocalBackingMap) for one of the caches in their Coherence cluster. This customized backing map allows them to keep the data in heap in a de-serialized format. This customized backing map works fine with Oracle Coherence 3.7.1.x (which is the version that they use in production). It does not work with Oracle Coherence 12.1.3.0.x (which is the version that they are trying to upgrade to).
