Multiple Queries Are Executed For Paginated ADF Table With Access Mode=Range Paging In VO (Doc ID 2147528.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 06, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle JDeveloper - Version to [Release Oracle11g to 12c]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When a page number link is clicked on the page link below a paginated ADF table, three queries are executed (when access mode = Range Paging).
The queries are different in range binding.

In a system where the query takes long time to execute, this causes a performance issue.

Actual Behaviour
Click a page number at the bottom of table to see multiple queries in action.
E.g: When page 2 is clicked, three queries are executed with different range binding.

Expected Behaviour
It should execute only one query to retrieve a page of data in paginated table.
