Symptoms

Adding an LDIF file to OID fails with:

ldapadd -h myoihost -p 3060 -D cn=orcladmin -w <password> -v -f myldif.ldif
add objectclass:
  top
  orclNetService
add cn:
  myentry
add orclnetdescstring:
  (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS_LIST=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=myhost)(PORT=1521)))(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVICE_NAME=mydb.mycompany.com)))
add orclnetdescname:
  000:cn=DESCRIPTION_0
adding new entry cn=myentry,cn=OracleContext,dc=mydc.com,dc=mycompany,dc=com
ldap_add: No such object
ldap_add: additional info: The provided entry cn=myentry,cn=OracleContext,dc=mydc.com,dc=mycompany,dc=com cannot be added because its suffix is not defined as one of the suffixes within the Directory Server
