How to Change Endpoints in the Service Architecture Leveraging Tuxedo (SALT) Configuration Dynamically? (Doc ID 2151841.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 08, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Service Architecture Leveraging Tuxedo (SALT) - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Customers have a lot of Oracle Service Architecture Leveraging Tuxedo (SALT) 12.1.3 applications in production and more are to come.
One problem they have today is that the projects often change URL's, for the WebService, which leads them to change the Endpoint in the .wsdf file.

Currently, in order  to change the endpoint, they have to take down that Service Architecture Leveraging Tuxedo (SALT) instance (or a whole Tuxedo domain) and change the URL and then start it again.
It should be extremely time saving to be able to change various parameters on the fly, especially endpoints in the Service Architecture Leveraging Tuxedo (SALT) configuration (for example using Tuxedo MIB calls).
