HTTP 401 Unauthorized: Logon Failed Using Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) To Access The Management Site Locally (Doc ID 2152557.1)

When Browsing the Self Service Password Management Site, Administrators receive a 401 error in the management console.

The Request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized

Administrators receive this error in the management console when viewing the pages locally on the server.  This error is not seen  if viewing the pages from a separate client computer.

This error is also only seen if using the FQDN of the SSPR host to access the site. If using the localhost alias or the computer short name no error is seen.
