Indexing Taking a Long Time to ingest documents with just DATABASE.METADATA configured (Doc ID 2153181.1)

Symptoms

Indexing is taking a long time with DATABASE.METADATA set. This is causing long wait times to index documents ingested into Webcenter Content.

When watching the indexer from Repository Manager, the Indexer counters are showing some documents are being full-text indexed.

Is there a way to ensure no documents are full-text searched, thus speeding up indexing.
