Breadcrumb Navigation doesn't Work when Calling WebCenter Portal from a Dot Net Application Using HTML Anchor tag (Doc ID 2153198.1)

Symptoms

When calling a custom portal from a Microsoft Dot Net application using HTML Anchor tag,
the breadcrumbs take to the Home page instead of the desired page.

The breadcrumb links are constructed from navigation model


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect to be directed to the page from the breadcrumb.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. User logs into the calling Microsoft Dot Net application.
   
   
2. A Link is provided to navigate to the custom portal application.
   So the user clicks on the link and navigates to the custom portal application.
   
   
3. The user navigates to sub pages on the portal where the breadcrumb is displayed on the screen.
   
   
4. The user clicks on the breadcrumb link, where the expected behavior is to navigate to the page from the breadcrumb.
   However the application is navigating/redirecting to home screen.
